As we flow through and past Lockdown 3, Yoga Nidra has become a bigger part of my teaching. Currently, you can join me Tuesday and Thursday evenings 8:30-9:30 at online with Brewer Street Yoga for some relaxing Slow Flow + Nidra.
But the more I teach it, the more I'm asked what exactly Yoga Nidra is? Personally, I find it the most powerful form of yoga I've ever experienced -- and it's entirely non-physical!
The best way to describe Yoga Nidra is just that: non-physical yoga. Through awareness of the body, breath and mind we can balance the awareness between waking and sleeping the same way we would balance the body in our Vinyasa Flow class.
